Who we are
Top Notch Products is operated by its parent company, Northside Ambition Productions, in Ontario, Canada. In this policy, “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to that business operating Top Notch Products.
This policy explains how we handle personal information connected with topnotchproducts.ca, enquiries sent to us, direct payments, and information we receive as a seller through our linked marketplace accounts. It does not replace a marketplace’s or payment provider’s own privacy policy.
Information we handle
- Messages you send us. Your name, email address, message, and any photos, order references, or other details you choose to include. Please do not email payment-card details, passwords, or unnecessary sensitive information.
- Marketplace orders and enquiries. When you contact or buy from our accounts on a marketplace, we may receive your username, contact details, delivery information, order details, and communications needed to fulfil the order or provide support.
- Direct payments. For an arranged purchase paid through PayPal or Square, we may receive your name, contact details, order reference, payment amount and currency, transaction status, receipt information, and delivery details you provide. Payment providers collect and process payment credentials on their own services; we do not receive your full card number or card security code through this website.
- Technical information. The services that deliver and protect the website may process IP addresses, requested pages, timestamps, browser or device information, and security or error logs.
This website has no customer accounts, shopping cart, or payment-card entry form. Marketplace purchases use the relevant platform. Direct-payment buttons open a separate PayPal or Square checkout for a purchase already arranged with us.
How we use information
We use information to answer questions, handle orders, reconcile direct payments, and answer after-sales enquiries, maintain business records, keep the site working, prevent misuse or fraud, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell or rent personal information or use website visits for targeted advertising.
We seek consent where required and explain additional purposes before using information for them. Sending us an enquiry allows us to use the details you provide to respond; it does not subscribe you to a marketing list. We may also handle information without consent where applicable law permits or requires it.
Cookies and browser storage
We do not currently use advertising pixels, marketing cookies, or third-party audience analytics on this website. The logos, fonts, and video are served as website files rather than embedded social-media widgets.
Where the cinematic intro is shown, a small setting in your browser’s session storage remembers that it has played, so it does not repeat during that tab’s visit. That setting is not an advertising identifier and is not sent to us. You can clear it through your browser’s site-data controls; closing the tab normally ends the session.
Cloudflare may use necessary security technologies to deliver the site and prevent abuse. The payment buttons are links; PayPal and Square checkout scripts are not embedded in this site. Linked marketplaces and payment providers have their own cookies and tracking practices once you visit them.
Service providers and processing locations
We use Cloudflare for domain, website delivery and security services, and email routing. Messages sent to our public email address are routed to our business inbox hosted by Microsoft. These providers process information needed to supply those services. Read Cloudflare’s privacy policy (opens in a new tab).
PayPal and Square process direct payments and provide transaction records to us. Their own terms and privacy notices apply to information they handle, including payment details and fraud checks. Review the PayPal Privacy Statement (opens in a new tab) and Square Privacy Notice (opens in a new tab).
We may share the information needed for an order with its marketplace, payment processor, and delivery provider, and with professional advisers or authorities where necessary and lawful. Service providers may process information outside Canada, including in the United States, where local courts or authorities may have access under applicable laws. We remain responsible for personal information under our control and use appropriate safeguards when working with providers.
Retention and security
We keep personal information for as long as needed to answer enquiries, complete orders, provide support, resolve disputes, and meet legal recordkeeping requirements. The appropriate period depends on the purpose and type of record. Information that is no longer needed is deleted or made non-identifying, subject to lawful retention requirements and backup cycles.
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the information, including limiting access to people who need it. No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure. We will respond to privacy incidents and provide notifications where required by law.
Your choices and privacy rights
You can ask what personal information we hold about you, how it has been used or disclosed, and request access or correction. You can also ask us to delete information or withdraw consent, subject to legal requirements and any information still needed to complete a transaction or resolve a dispute.
Email contact@topnotchproducts.ca with “Privacy request” in the subject. We may need proportionate information to confirm your identity. We respond within the time required by applicable law; where PIPEDA applies, access requests normally require a response within 30 calendar days, subject to permitted extensions and exceptions.
Please contact us with privacy concerns so we can try to resolve them. You can also contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (opens in a new tab) for guidance or information about its complaint process.
Linked services and young visitors
Marketplaces and payment providers manage their own accounts, payment services, messages, and privacy choices. Review the relevant platform’s policy and contact it directly for information it controls. We remain responsible for information we receive and handle as a seller.
This site is intended for a general shopping audience and does not offer accounts or services directed at children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information without appropriate consent, contact us so we can review and address it.
Updates to this policy
We will update this policy as our services or information practices change and revise the date above. Material changes will be brought to your attention as required by law, and additional consent will be requested where necessary.
